Central unit CU2-01M

It is a brain of the whole INELS system.

  • This unit is a „mediator“ between user program environment and other sensors, actuators connected to a bus.
  • Configuration of the nit, and thus of the whole system, is done by Ethernet interface of configuration software  INELS Designer and Manager (hereafter  IDM), which is designed for operation system MS Windows.
  • Connector RJ45 of Ethernet port is places on its front panel, transmission speed is 10 or 100 Mbps.
  • It is possible to connect up to two buses directly to CU2-01M. Each bus can carry up  to 32 INELS units of any type.
  • Other units can be connected by external modules MI2-02M, which is connected to CU2-01M by  TCL2 bus.
  • TCL2 bus can have maximal length  300 m (metallic cable – twisted pair), regulations for bus RS-485 apply (line topology).
  • CU2-01M can be configured remotely and controlled also by Internet (in case the unti is connected to Internet by LAN net).
  • It is possible o use also 4  potential-free inputs for connection of external controllers (buttons, wall-switches, sensors, detectors etc.).
  • There is a possibility to control user functions by Internet browser ( PC, PDA) thanks to an in-built web-server which is located in CU2-01M.
  • Software IDM offers wore range of programmable functions.
  • By using CU2-01M it is remotely possible to upgrade firmware of units connected to bus and  MI2-02M.
  • PSM – control of system supply – main voltage and state of back-up accumulators.
  • In case of de-energization , all data and times are stored in memory for min. 72 hours.
  • Central unit has a display which shows state of a unit (G-communication, H-communication stopped, E-error) and enables to show IP address of the device.

    Programming, configuration, control and information: IDM.
    Possibility of  SCADA/HMI system Reliance and OPC server.

    Functional button – in case you press and hold MODE button, the unit shows communication setting - IP address, mask, gate.
    CU2-01M in  6-MODUL housing is designed for mounting into a switchboard, onto a DIN rail EN60715.
